Is Andy Cohen Engaged to Hockey Player Sean Avery?
By all appearances, the answer would be yes. But it's sort of hard not to chalk this up to being a good old-fashioned prank.

I’m not sure if you are aware or not but Andy Cohen has been dating former NHL star Sean Avery for almost a year and a half now, it will be two years in March. And get this, they are secretly ENGAGED! There have been rumors for years in the NHL league about Sean Avery’s sexuality, but he has always vehemently denied it, Sean even went as far as to “date” a beard girlfriend (Elisha Cuthbert), who he was never even remotely into, to cover up him receiving backlash from his NHL teammates and internally in the NHL for being gay.
Sean thinks that by having an openly gay relationship with another pubic figure such as Andy will give him the title of “NHL’s first openly gay athlete dating a BRAVO Executive” following him and people not notice him for anything else. Sean is openly gay/bisexual around close friends, but not to the public.
Andy desperately wants to take their relationship public because all his friends are married or in a long term relationship (Kelly Ripa & Mark Consuelos, Anderson Cooper & Benjamin Maisani) and he’s tired of not being in a committed long term relationship. Every holiday the two vacation together and share the same hotel room. This labor day weekend the two are in the Southampton’s together. The two are trying to be very discreet, but they are definitely dating. They are also 12 years apart in age, Andy is 45 and Sean is 33.Stay tuned. I've reached out to Andy for comment. For his part, we know Sean loves fashion and certainly been known to hang out in Chelsea, which kind of makes the whole thing a little too perfect.

Is Tommy Robredo Gay?
Have heard dozens of "reports" that Tommy Robredo is gay, everything from "his partner was in his box last night" (huh-huh) to Murphy Jensen "surprise" visited him at Reichen Lemkuhl's house(!) on his "behind the scenes look at tennis players' lives" show on the Tennis Channel a couple years ago. (Remember "Murphy's Guide"?) If this is true, would be great for him to come out while his ranking is so high. The fact that he cites Arantxa Sanchez as an influence/favorite and has POSED NUDE both made my eyebrows raise. For those doing research, there's also an article online referring to "his wife," but it appears to be a mistake made by a photographer. Can anyone offer any, um, hard evidence?

Andy Murray hasn't been the same since he got the Wimbledon monkey off his back, and today was no exception as he was completely outplayed in his 6-4, 6-3, 6-2 quarterfinal loss to ninth-seeded Stanislas Wawrinka today in Flushing Meadows. Happy for Stan -- definitely not the Swiss you'd expect to see in the final four!

Tony Award show host and TV star Neil Patrick Harris has a lot to celebrate. He and fiancé David Burtka are fresh back from a trip to St. Tropez with their adorable 2-year-old twins, Harper and Gideon. Now the clan is returning to a new home — in Harlem. Harris just bought a stunning $3.6 million townhouse at 2036 Fifth Ave., between West 125th and 126th streets. The five-story stunner has five bedrooms, five bathrooms and measures a sprawling 8,000 square feet. The sun-filled home includes two terraces, a backyard, chef’s kitchen and lots of space for a playroom and gym. The home is significantly bigger than the couple’s previous home, which was also in Harlem.The place looks beautiful ...

Meet 'The Goldbergs'
The city is covered with posters promoting "The Goldbergs," a new ABC sitcom about a faimly in the '80s. I haven't watched a network sitcom in ages (Michael swears "That '70s Show" was quite good, but I've never seen an episode), but given the subject matter and leads -- Wendi McClendon-Covey ("Reno 911") and Jeff Garlin ("Curb Your Enthusiasm" -- I may just give this one a chance. The trailer is promising-ish, but more than anything I'm blown away by the fact that this "period" piece is a solid decade longer ago than "Happy Days" was for my Class of '59 mom when we started watching it 1974!
