I'm sure by now you've heard that Charles Durning died on Christmas Eve, at the age of 89. He was great in everything he was in -- I've watched "When a Stranger Calls" more than anyone in the history of the world! -- but never more so than as Jessica Lange's lovestruck father in "Tootsie."
