I didn't see "The Iron Lady," but from what I've heard, it was a lot like "Lincoln": Great lead performance in a tedious-at-times film. Meryl Streep took home the Oscar -- and so may Daniel Day-Lewis, who was sublime at bringing Abraham Lincoln to life, while everyone else seemed like they were playing dress-up on a sound stage as the producers patted themselves on the back for making such an "important" film. With the exception of "Jaws" -- when I was 8 -- I guess I don't ever really love Steven Spielberg films, although I admittedly rarely see them. Curious to hear how others felt about this one. (And what was up with that sad ending, anyway?)
