I love that Facebook keeps telling me I should be friends with Patty Duke -- you mean I'm not already? --which got me thinking about her most famous role(s) as identical cousins Patty and Cathy Lane on "The Patty Duke Show." Has anyone ever had an identical cousin? After feeling like I was the "milkman's son" for many years, I've slowly started to look more like my siblings as I've gotten older, but nothing close to "identical." (For one thing, I'm 6 feet and my brothers are 5-9 and 5-6, and there's the three entirely different kinds of hair going on up top -- red, thick-dark-and-wavy and my straight light brown.) As for cousins, I'm the youngest child born to a family of eight Irish Walshes, so a huge portion of my cousins are actually old enough to be my parents. (Some are already dead.) The closest I can come up with is my (first) cousin (once removed) Christopher, who is my cousin Jim's son. Chris, who is also gay, is an architect in Los Angeles and is the beefier, part Swedish, 2.0 version of Kenneth in the (212)!
