Ben Affleck looks good on the October cover of Details. In it, he talks about "Argo," his quirky new film based on the so-called Canadian Caper, a joint secret rescue by the Canadian government and the CIA of six American diplomats who evaded capture during the seizure of the U.S. Embassy in Tehran, Iran, back in 1979 by pretending to be part of a film crew scouting a location for a film (called "Argo"). I like Ben 2.0. He's kind of like a cross between Sean Penn and Kevin Bacon, directing more and acting in smaller films in sometimes smaller roles.
