Sad to see this Capitol Hill institution go. When I landed on the East Coast in January '93, I was crashing at my brother Bill's apartment just around the corner from Remington's. I would invariably make the trip to Dupont Circle to be with "my type of guys," but every so often I would sneak in to the country and western watering hole dreaming I'd meet my very own urban cowboy.
