The music industry is changing so quickly -- sometimes from day to day -- that I can't even keep up with what gimmicks my favorite artists are using to get fans to buy their wares. But it seems my idol, Paul Weller, released a six-song EP ("Dragonfly") in the U.K. recently (don't see it on American iTunes). The idea that a music legend would be putting out an EP is sort of depressing to me -- I'm an album guy, and so is the Mod Father -- but now I see he quickly followed it up with a limited-edition, double-A side single, which makes me think this is just a ploy to get an album's worth of material out in a way that gets maximum attention. (I see the single HERE, but how about making it all available to your U.S. fans, Paul?)
