Do we really need more proof that full marriage equality is needed in all 50 states -- right now?
By now you've heard the appalling story about the gay man who was forced out of the hospital room of his "domestic partner" in Missouri. It's become a "he said, they said" war of words between the man and the various authorities, but you didn't have to be there to know that it doesn't pass the smell test. John Aravosis of Americablog has some disturbing new details gleaned from an interview he did with Amanda Brown, 26, the daughter of Roger Gorley, who was handcuffed and dragged away from the bed of his husband, Allen Mansell, at the Research Medical Center in Lee’s Summit, Missouri on Tuesday (read HERE). But all you really need to do is ask yourself this: When was the last time you heard of someone in a heterosexual couple being thrown out and/or arrested while visiting their gravely ill spouse?
