Expect a major charm offensive from former Mets catcher Mike Piazza, who will be simultaneously promoting his new autobiography, "Long Shot," while deflecting rumors that he used steroids and was a catcher in his public life too. With his Hall of Fame worthy career being ignored by Cooperstown last month, in its first year of eligibility, I can see him going to bat on the steroid charge. (Assuming he's being truthful.)
